PARENTS' CORNER

 

Our policy

 

Parent involvement is an important part of a successful experience with daycare.  Drop in occasionally to see how your child interacts with staff and other children.  Discuss any concerns with the staff that work with your child or feel free to set up a one-on-one conference.

 

Registration Fee

 

A registration fee of $70.00 will be due upon enrollment and will be renewable each new school year, in August.  The registration fee covers administration costs and supplies.  Registration fees are not refundable.

 

Tuition Policy

 

All tuition fees are due and payable on Monday or your first scheduled day of attendance for the week.  There is a $15.00 late fee for payments received after Monday.  If fees are unpaid by close of business on Tuesday, your child will not be permitted to return until full payment is made.

 

Holidays and Vacation

 

We will be closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving, half day Christmas Eve (closing at 1pm), and Christmas Day.  There is NO reduction of tuition for holidays.

 

If your child attends half of a regularly scheduled week, full tuition is due.  Your child may be absent for two weeks per year, without charge, thereafter, half tuition is due.

 

Returned Checks

 

There is a $35.00 charge on all returned checks.  Your account may be put on a cash basis after one returned check.

 

Withdrawing Procedure

 

In order to better serve those wishing to enroll, submit in writing a two week notice of withdrawal.

 

Late Pick Up Charge

 

We close promptly at 6:30 pm.  It is important that you pick up your child by closing time, otherwise, it will be necessary to charge a late fee of $1.00 per minute per child, up until 30 minutes or until 7:00 pm, at which time legal authorities will be contacted.

 

Transportation

 

Transportation is available to and from area elementary schools.   The Texas Transportation Code requires children under the age of 8 or less than 4’9” be in a child safety seat; which you will need to provide for us.  If you are participating in our transportation program, please notify us of any schedule changes for your child or the school, before our bus run begins.

 

Daily Drop-In Care

 

Daily Drop-In Care will be provided on a space available basis for $35.00 for the day.  We do not provide hourly care.

 

Parents Day Off

 

For an additional cost of $35.00 we will be open the 3rd Saturday of every month from 12:00 to 8:00 PM to provide child care for those parents who need to take care of business.
